CONNECTION PATHWAY
Jesus was intentional about Discipleship and we should be too! Our Pathway of Discipleship is designed to bring someone new into a deepening understanding of our church, its values, and the three basic pillars of discipleship formation: Devotion, Community, and Mission. Most people start by gathering with us on Sundays or online. Once you decide to move deeper into community with us, take these steps:
Step One: CG|DNA Class for Newcomers
Step Two: The Discipleship Course
Step Three: Join a House Church or Group (Men’s/Women’s Ministry, Serve, etc)

STEP ONE: CG|DNA for Newcomers
This is the first step in connecting with our community. CG|DNA is a one-time class offered about once every two months for those who are new to CGNE and are just learning about our church. It takes place after service in one of the classrooms and is taught by a leader at CGNE. Lunch is usually provided and helps to inform all newcomers with our churches history, its mission/vision/values, and the way those things inform and guide our future.
After this step you may simply continue to gather with us on Sundays, attend our events/ministries, or move on to Step Two and take The Discipleship Course. Our digital bulletin stays up-to-date on all CG|DNA Classes and dates.
STEP TWO: The Discipleship Course
This is an 8-week course that is offered quarterly: Fall, Winter, Spring, and summer (as people sign up). It is an immersive experience that revolves around guided discussions with multiple experiences to help put the lessons into practice. This course familiarizes all participants to our Three Pillars (Devotion, Community, and Mission) and acclimates them to the common goal of our church through our specific values and mission at CGNE.
After this step you may simply gather with us on Sundays, attend our events/ministries, or move on to Step Three and JOIN a House Church in your area, serve, and commit to a Group at CGNE.

STEP THREE: Join CG Groups or House Churches
GROUPS
We have several “growth“ groups that you can jump into for spiritual formation and engagement including Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and Prayer Ministry as well as multiple service opportunities to serve at CGNE in our gatherings and beyond. To join a group email Pastor Ken at ken@cgnortheast.com
HOUSE CHURCHES
We always recommend that you complete The Discipleship Course if you would like to get into one of our House Churches (HC’s) although it is not required. We do provide one additional training to form these groups into a “multiplying family on mission“ together which. Learn more about House Churches!
Stay tuned as more discipleship opportunities are developed and made available at Common Ground Northeast!
